Shirley Beul, M.A.

Shirley Beul is a PhD student and works as scientific assistant in the eHealth Group at the Human Technology Centre at RWTH Aachen University, Germany.
She studied communication studies, economics, and politics at RWTH Aachen University where she finished her studies in 2009 with the final degree of a Magister Artium (M.A.). During her studies, she worked as a student researcher at the Forum Materials Science and the Department of Textlinguistics and Technical Communication.

Shirley deals with the development of telemedical services, the investigation of user requirements, and the evaluation of new telemedical concepts. In her dissertation she investigates telemedical doctor-patient-communication in the context of ambient assisted living.
