I am a research associate
at the Natural Media and Engineering project focusing on gesture use in the design of technology. I am interested in understanding the use of gestures in social and organizational work processes in technology mediated communication and how this understanding can inform the design of communication technology.
I graduated from the Department of Information Systems, New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and was a member of the SmartCampus Group headed by my advisor Dr. Quentin Jones. As part of my doctoral thesis I explored ways to support interruption management in mobile phone communication.
