O art thou but

A dagger of the mind, a false creation,

    Proceeding from the heat-oppressed brain?

Creative Thinking Scientifically Explored

We often marvel at the work of outstanding authors, artists, or scientists and admire the originality of their thinking. How do such original, groundbreaking works come into being? Up to now, relatively little is known about creative production processes. For a long time, creativity was considered to be beyond scientific research and was therefore scarcely explored. In this project, we attempt to approach this enigmatic phenomenon, and to investigate how textual concepts evolve, how they take shape and how they change in the process of the making.
