Areas of Activity
The major societal challenges can only be mastered if technical innovations are systematically thought of and designed as socio-technical innovations. HumTec is organized in activity fields in order to tailor interdisciplinary settings for specific problems and to develop a culture of integrated-interdisciplinary and responsible innovation at RWTH. Activity fields are each grouped around a challenging task that can only be addressed in an interdisciplinary way. Currently, there are the following activity fields at HumTec:
