Professorships
The professorships of HumTec cover the disciplines philosophy, ethics, sociology, computer science and psychology and therefore represent a comprehensive interdisciplinary expertise.
The different professorships provide a diverse range of methods. They not only include algorithmic, psychological, social-scientific and philosophical methods, but also link them to a suitable “method architecture” according to the occasion and research topic.
This enables the revelation of complex change processes in science as well as the impact of science and technology on the society, which relate to cultural and social embedding of innovations, such as a change in values related to technology, paradigm shifts in scientific disciplines, information patterns in social media, possibilities and limitations of target-group-specific risk communication, Impact of Open Science. The range of topics is very broad: Human Computer Interaction, social web analysis, paradigm analysis, code studies, living labs, normative analysis and many more.
